Dee Gordon Never Wanted to Play Baseball

With a former major leaguer as a father, and a slew of cousins and uncles who played the game, Dee Gordon was pretty much destined to become a baseball player. Except he kept resisting, and was almost tempted to pursue playing college basketball. But eventually, Gordon relented and fulfilled his destiny. Now he’s one of the best young infielders in baseball. VICE Sports sat down to talk with Gordon about his journey to becoming an All Star.
